Behind the non-noticeable name "The Parks" hides pretty good cd with Russian melancholic

ambient, not very original, but very true. Non-originality expresses first of all in music

itself, like "The Parks" stacked somewhere in the middle of 90ths, where second issue of

Apex Twin's "Selected Ambient Works" could be counted as epohal work, setting the way of

sounding for followers. Especially that counts for majority of beats used - as long as on

the first plan are heaving synthesisers passages, everything is beautiful, but when pulsing

drum-machines coming, musing becomes a bit oldish. But well, thats just quibbles. You will

hear very beautiful long air compositions like "The Renaissance" and "Waves"; competent work

with samples, especially on "The HAL 9000 Computer" playing around the episode of "Odyssey

2001"; perfect composition "Spider" with a cello, which gonna turn your soul inside out...

Pretty good CD, as mentioned earlier. Maybe someday "The Parks" gonna write a Great one.
